i think its really smart writing how how mii and payne are consistently loved by the new world online devs despite being just as overpowered as maple. because the thing is, to the majority of gamers, maple would be playing the game the "wrong" way if it were real. she goes afk in the middle of a forest, she doesnt want to kill the cute monsters, she puts all her skill points into defense-- meanwhile mii and payne are significantly more conventional players. a mage and a swordsman who rely on their respective attack powers to tear through enemies and other players. that's way more common and way more expected. the devs clearly didnt plan for how balance the game when taking a play style like maple's into account because it just isnt seen as the "normal" or "correct" way to play.

in fact all that stored up anger makes her incredibly good at sniping people with items

Molly knows about a few shortcuts but doesn't really use them because she's too worried about ruining her race by failing them

mains Toadette (and Isabelle but technically she isn't really a Mario Kart character but I'll ignore it since she's in the game)

actually she doesn't even really RACE at all, because it's irresponsible to drive a vehicle at these speeds

ALWAYS picks Daisy Circuit because of the statues of Luigi and Daisy together (she thinks they're very adorable)

Trixie knows ALL the important game breaking things. Shortcuts, best item spots, what would theoretically be the best combo, you name it

I think they'd prefer the bikes over the karts

favorite tracks are Coconut Mall (the Mario Kart fandom will understand why), Mushroom Gorge and Boo Lake

has to intentionally play bad so people don't stop playing with her at all

if anyone has a perfect rating in all cups at all speeds it's Trixie

I don't think he has fully figured out how a race works, even though he was told multiple times

this man right here plays as a Mii racer, you can't change my mind

he likes playing together with Phoenica. They don't race, they just drive around the courses and look at the pretty scenery together

if he ever gets any speed item in the item roulette he will cause chaos

probably drives backwards and against walls as we're speaking

the way he plays makes you think he's really bad at hiding that he lets you win

.....oh wait no, he's actually worse than thought-

he's oddly competitive even though his skills aren't the best but will intentionally play even worse when he knows someone is having a bad day

mostly uses King Boo, Waluigi and Birdo

favorite tracks include: Excitebike Arena, 3DS Neo Bowser City, Waluigi Pinball and Choco Mountain

he also has terrible luck in this game

loses most of his good items to shocks or gets hit over and over again

oh PLEASE he's way too adult for childish games like these

if you invite him over he'll spend the entire day infront of this game, experiencing inhuman joy whenever he gets a top spot, but he'll never admit it

actually this game would be terrible for her she will get so frustrated over this

she sometimes uses tracks like the Rainbow Roads, Rosalina's Ice World and Sky-High Sundae as inspirations for her Dream Bubbles

most likely likes Rosalina and Daisy the most

Just finished season one of BOFURI, and OH MY GOD I LOVE THIS

I love how even though Maple finds these crazy OP skills, it's not as if she's the only one who can acquire them. She's just better at finding them because she wanders off the beaten path and tries things that a normal player wouldn't, like laying down and getting hit by monsters to raise resistance or straight up trying to eat monsters. It's not like other people don't have skills like hers, the other top players also have some crazy skills too, which makes sense because they'd also be hunting around for skills, just in a different way. It's like Kirito's dual wielding in SAO, but EVERY player could possibly learn it as well as countless other busted skills, it's great XD

I also like how lax everyone is compared to how people acted in SAO, even in the other arcs like Alfheim or GGO where real life death isn't a threat. It's just a game, and while things can get a little heated during the fights there's nothing stopping Maple from trying to befriend her "enemies" after the fact. There's even characters like Mii, who seems like a charismatic leader who's always making great speeches, but it turns out they're actually just roleplaying! There's also the little text chats that you see every episode between Kuromu and his friends, where there's a mix of complaining about the balance issues of the game, cheering on Maple, and just laughing at the absurdity of it all.

Who would the nordics main in Mario Kart?(wii or 8 or both) also what would be their favourite tracks?

Coincidentally, I happen to have both, so I'll give answers for both versions of the game.

Denmark:

Wii: he mains bowser, his favourite vehicle is the flame runner and his favourite track is Koopa cape.

8 Deluxe: he mains Dry Bowser, I literally do not care enough to mention his favourite vehicle combination (seriously why do we have to complicate everything) and his favourite track is electrodome.

Sweden:

Wii: he mains Toad, mainly because of the funny voice, favourite vehicle is the wild wing, favourite course is Wario's gold mine.

8 Deluxe: I have the sneaking suspicion he'd main his own Mii, but I also think he'd main Tanooki Mario. His favourite course is Excitebike arena.

Finland:

Wii: he mains baby peach and he's the only one allowed to use baby peach because he's not as good at the game as the others, favourite vehicle is the Magikruiser, favourite course is mushroom Gorge.

8 Deluxe: Cat peach, Baby park.

Norway:

Wii: you cannot convince me this guy doesn't main waluigi. Flame flyer because apparently bikes aren't cool enough for him. His favourite course is maple treeway.

8 Deluxe: Link, music park.

Iceland:

Wii: Rosalina, shooting star, rainbow road because he always wins.

8 Deluxe: King Boo, tick tock clock.

Their preferred Wii battle mode is coin runner, with Funky Kong stadium as the common favourite track.

The favourite 8 Deluxe battle mode is a unanimous renegade roundup with the favourite track being Luigi's mansion.

The team division is usually as follows:

Blue team: Norway, Denmark, Finland.

Red team: Sweden, Iceland.
